Spiritual Qualifications
A committed Christian who demonstrates a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Agreement with the church’s statement of faith and support of its mission and values
Active membership and regular participation in a Christian church
Education & Experience
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in early childhood education or childcare
Prior leadership or administrative experience strongly preferred
Knowledge of Christian-based curriculum and child development best practices
Professional Skills
Strong leadership and team-building abilities
Excellent communication skills with staff, parents, and church leadership
Ability to organize, plan, and manage program schedules and events with active multitasking
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills to manage parent concerns and employee concerns
Proficiency with basic office software (email, word processing, spreadsheets, scheduling tools)
Licensing & Certifications
Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
Required background check and child safety training
Core Responsibilities Competency
Ability to assist in development and implementation of age-appropriate, Christ-centered curriculum
Skills in staff supervision, training, and creating a cohesive environment
Ability to manage budgets, enrollment, and program operations
Strong understanding of child safety and risk management policies
